Shelter of Kindness: A Place of Care and Recovery for Animals

Hospitallers have created a dedicated animal shelter in Ukraine, providing rescued animals with safety, care, and a second chance at life.

About the Shelter of Kindness

With so many animals left without owners and stranded in dangerous locations, Hospitallers knew they couldn’t ignore the situation. On one of their bases in Ukraine, they built a safe haven for these vulnerable animals rescued from affected regions and given the care they desperately need.

Here, the evacuated cats and dogs find temporary shelter, nourishment, veterinary care, and love. Many of these animals were brought to safety by Hospitails, rescued from difficult Ukrainian areas where they had no one else to care for them.

Why the Shelter Matters

The devastation caused by the ruzzian invasion has left countless animals in desperate need of help. From the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Station, which flooded entire regions, to the chaos in affected areas, the toll on the furry friends has been immense. Many were left injured, hungry, or abandoned in the aftermath of these tragic events.

In the Shelter, they provide a lifeline for these vulnerable animals. Rescued from the harshest conditions, cats and dogs find safety, proper medical care, and love.

In the Shelter, cats and dogs begin to heal and prepare for a new chapter in a forever home.
