The team had already evacuated almost 100 wounded in just a few weeks. Some with severe amputations, some with minor injuries. No task was too overwhelming for this team who remained hugely professional throughout.

Recently graduating from the medical uni in Kyiv, Alexis told he wants to specialize as an orthopedic surgeon. Before the accident, he said: "I'm strong mentally, I'm ready to work under high pressure". He also said: "War is evil. You live your life, everything is fine but then it's all taken away. I want to live the same life I did before, I want to continue the life I had. I want to start a family with my girlfriend. There are many heroes in this war but I am certain, not one of them".
