Ortotec Finland, a Finnish medical technology startup, continues their work to support Ukraine with Hospitallers. Since the beginning of the 2022 continued invasion, Ortotec Finland has supplied 25 devices to be used across field hospitals, first response units and major hospitals to help detect metal in the human body and save lives. Today marks the beginning of Hospitallers collaborating with Ortotec Finland with the aim to supply more GetMet devices to the front line and fundraise for the sending of additional devices where they are needed the most. We use this opportunity to learn more about how and where these devices can further help save Ukrainian lives. Now, further use of cluster bombs introduces a scenario where the metal can find its way into the bodies of Ukrainian people.
Leo Osterback, the company founder, says: ‘At times it has been incredible to see how difficult it is to actually help Ukraine with the red tape involved and provide GetMet devices to the right places in the right hands. With Hospitallers everything is well fast and well organized. With Hospitallers, we know the devices will land in the right hands! The way these products have been received and found useful gives us meaning and helps us work harder in our effort to help Ukraine where we are able to’. #Hospitallers #Paramedics #UkraineParamedics #HospitallersUkraine #HospitallersUK #HelpHospitallers #Ukraine #SupportUkraine #HelpUkraine #StandWithUkraine #HelpUkraineNow
