There was a great day at the Dog Show last Sunday, 23rd October, organized by Cllr Carol Marubbi on the West Shore in Llandudno, where people raised funds in support of our volunteer paramedics. After having horrendous weather for the last few days, when the water flooded some streets in Llandudno, rising up to Carol’s knees in her front garden, people were lucky to enjoy the sunshine and the calmness for a pleasant change.
There was a fantastic turnout: 41 dogs of various breeds registered to take part in different competitions. The most popular was "The waggiest tale", and the most entertaining was "Catch a sausage". Lots of families brought their dogs to participate or just to watch and support.
Many thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes. Special thanks to Mochdre Vets for their contribution and to Ollie, owner of beautiful King Charles Cavallier Ludo, who straight after the show brought us generous raffle prizes for the next charity event.
Many thanks to the volunteers Chrissie Norman from cafe Haven, Linda Baileys, Elizabeth Williams, Cath Wynne, Nataliia, Mykola, and Tanya. We are very grateful to Cllr Carol Marubbi, who had planned and organised the event.
Thanks to everyone who joined the show, it was raised £400. In addition there was also an extremely generous donation of £300 from a local supporter. £700 has now been transferred to the Hospitallers, who are very grateful for donation. Please support hard work of our volunteer paramedics and donate generously! #Hospitallers #Paramedics #UkraineParamedics #HospitallersUkraine #HospitallersUK #HelpHospitallers #Ukraine #SupportUkraine #HelpUkraine #StandWithUkraine #HelpUkraineNow
