The chocolate maker Cadbury has been dropped from the list of royal warrant holders for the first time in 170 years. The American owners of the company, Mondelez International, were quite outraged by this decision. However, this happened because Mondelez International continues to supply its products to the shelves of the Russian Federation.
Earlier this year, the King was urged by the campaign group B4Ukraine to withdraw warrants from companies "still operating in Russia" after the invasion of Ukraine, naming Mondelez and the consumer goods firm Unilever, which has also been stripped of the endorsement and shamefully removed.
Supporting Ukraine is crucial worldwide. Large companies must understand that their actions directly impact their future and that the war in Ukraine is not just words but an issue that deserves their attention. We hope this situation will make many more companies reflect on whose side they choose.
We are grateful to everyone supporting Ukraine in this difficult struggle and continuing to help. Support and donations are very important right now. Don’t stand aside, keep helping—together we are strong! #Hospitallers #Paramedics #UkraineParamedics #HospitallersUkraine #HospitallersUK #HelpHospitallers #Ukraine #SupportUkraine #HelpUkraine #StandWithUkraine #HelpUkraineNow
