A convoy of more than 50 vehicles, many of which were donated through London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (Ulez) scrappage scheme, has set off  on the 25th of July to deliver aid to Ukraine. “Today, together with Deputy Mayor of London Seb Dance, members of the British Parliament, British-Ukrainian Aid project manager Iryna Makarukha, Transport UK London Bus COO Alan Pilbeam, Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership CEO Mike Bowden, volunteer Conal Cunningham, undefeated Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, and Ukrainian football legend Oleksiy Mykhailychenko, a convoy of 50 vehicles was sent, which were donated or transferred through the ULEZ vehicle recycling scheme by concerned UK residents,” Valerii Zaluzhnyi a four-star general and diplomat who is currently serving as Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom wrote on his Telegram channel.

ULEZ cars will be used to provide medical assistance and to help save lives.
